This small group series was designed to provide tools to help us discover our spiritual gifts and equip us in working together to fulfill God’s calling for our lives. Through this discovery, we can grow to engage our spiritual gifts in our families, congregations, and communities.
If this is the first time that you have used a Spiritual Gifts small group in your congregation, you may want to start with a group made up of members of the shared leadership team, the rector, a few ministers, or other influential people in the congregation. If someone has previously embraced Work of Ministry, they could also be in this first small group. After journeying through this material together, consider who might be a champion for Spiritual Gifts and could facilitate the other Spiritual Gifts small groups in your congregation.
Facilitators of this small group series should be willing to put in the time to prepare and study the materials, have a passion to help people grow and find their calling, and be able to facilitate discussion and make use of “teaching moments.”
